Reverend Zenetta M. Armstrong was born in Antigua, West Indies. She received her Masters in Divinity at the Episcopal Divinity School in Massachusetts. Reverend Armstrong has a passion for social justice which she believes is at the heart of the gospel. She was ordained in 1988 to the diaconate and to the priesthood in 1989.
Rev. Armstrong currently serves as a member of the Board of the Massachusetts Clergy Association Association (MECA) as Treasurer. As an active leader in the community, Reverend Armstrong received an award for outstanding local leadership from the National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials, which is affiliated with the National League of Cities in 2012. Reverend Armstrong formally served on the following Boards/Committees: Board of the Episcopal City Mission; Standing Committee of the Diocese; Founding Board of Bridge Boston Charter School; Steering Committee of Mattapan United
